I've Cut the Daily Devotional Price in Half

It's been nearly a year and a half since I started posting daily content for paid subscribers, and the most rewarding part of this journey has been hearing feedback. Nothing brings me greater joy than knowing that I'm playing some small role in people's spiritual growth journeys.

Since the beginning, my monthly rate has been $9, but after giving it more thought, I'm slashing it to $3.99. Why? Simply put, I want this devotional to be a widely accessible resource with little barrier to signup.

$9 is more than a basic Netflix subscription, but $3.99 is the price of a bad cup of coffee. 😄 With most people's finances getting a bit more squeezed these days, I don't want someone to say this devotional is something they can't work into their budget.

Here's Why This Devotional Is Important

Let me shoot straight with you. I'm not a doom-and-gloom guy, but I've been discouraged by the general state of Christian media (especially in America) for several years. For too long, many of the platforms that thrive have featured prominent voices who speak on a handful of controversial click-bait topics.

As someone who works heavily in the publishing industry, I sometimes joke that six magical words can get any author published tomorrow: "I have 250,000 followers on Instagram."

Because there is this heavy lean towards influencers, the quiet and more thoughtful voices frequently go ignored. But as I've discovered countless times, often the quietest voices in our lives are the ones who have the most value to contribute.

It's the single mom who labors day after day to raise her family to follow Jesus, the Christian lawyer who makes ethical choices when many in his industry do not, and the teacher whose job never seems to end but loves her kids.

None of these individuals will write a book, but they have so much wisdom to share about following Jesus in the grind of life. So, in addition to the content I provide, these are the voices I want to continue to highlight. People like:
