With all our faults and failures, it's hard to imagine that the God of the universe would want to dwell within us. But what a beautiful truth from Colossians: we are reconciled to God through Christ Jesus, given a new identity, and equipped for use in his kingdom!

Living a life that is pleasing to God can feel overwhelming if we lean on our own strength. But as we spend time with God and the Spirit brings about fruit in our lives, we are enabled to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord.
Sometimes our idea of bearing fruit doesn't align with the fruit God is bringing about in our lives. True fruitfulness will include growth in faith and love, signs of the gospel of Christ taking root in us.
